MBC at DACCPM Research Night 2024

Congratulations to Yun Jin (Carrie) Chen, a visiting medical student, who earned Second Place in the Best Abstract category at the 2024 Department of Anesthesia, Critical Care and Pain Medicine (DACCPM) Research Night. Her research presentation, titled “Associations between Alzheimer’s Disease polygenic risk and postoperative delirium: a prospective cohort study,” showcases important work in understanding genetic risk factors for post-surgical complications. This recognition highlights the innovative research being conducted by our visiting students and their valuable contributions to our academic community.
