Arlen Gaba, MD

Resident Physician

Dr. Arlen Gaba is a Psychiatry Resident at Tufts Medical Center. After completing high school in Tirana, Albania, he finished his university degree in Biochemistry at Northeastern University. Fortuitously, he joined the medical biodynamics program as a research assistant, and given the instrumental guidance from Dr. Lei Gao, Dr. Peng Li, and Dr. Kun Hu, continued his way towards medical school. He completed his medical degree at Wake Forest University School of Medicine in North Carolina. Along the way he helped author scientific articles spanning complex multidisciplinary topics, before turning his attention towards the field of psychiatry, authoring articles that spanned clinical ethics, depression, delirium, dementia, catatonia, and more. Now, Dr. Gaba is training in the field of Psychiatry at Tufts Medical Center, while serving a particularly vulnerable patient population. Dr. Gaba continues to contribute to the scientific literature, with ongoing exploratory research into delirium, cognition, cardiovascular health and topics in clinical ethics. Outside of his work, he spends his little free time watching films with his aficionado fiancĂ©e, catching up with his friends and colleagues virtually in video games or playing in Boston sport leagues.
