
Dr. Chenlu Gao received her PhD in Psychology from Baylor University and is currently a postdoctoral researcher working under the mentorship of Dr. Peng Li and Dr. Kun Hu. Her research focuses on sleep and cognitive aging, with a particular interest in daytime sleep (napping).
Supported by a fellowship from the Alzheimer’s Association, Dr. Gao’s work has illuminated the connections between daytime napping patterns and Alzheimer’s dementia. In addition to her work on cognitive aging, she is passionate about advancing wearable technology to enable more accurate sleep assessment.
