Feng Ding

Dr. Feng Ding received his BS in Physics from Nanjing University (NJU) and his PhD in Physics from Boston University. After postdoctoral and research appointments at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, he joined Clemson University in 2012, where he leads a multiscale biophysics lab in the Department of Physics and Astronomy.

Dr. Ding’s research focuses on developing advanced molecular modeling methodologies to understand the structure, dynamics, and function of biomolecules and molecular complexes. His lab applies these computational approaches to uncover molecular mechanisms of human diseases and design cost-effective therapeutic strategies. Collaborating with experimental researchers nationally and internationally, Dr. Ding’s team combines computational and experimental approaches to address critical challenges in biology and medicine.
