Mili Jimenez Gallardo holds a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences with a concentration in Human Biology and a Minor in Computer Programming from North Carolina State University. She is currently a clinical research coordinator working under the mentorship of Dr. Kun Hu, Dr. Lei Gao, and Dr. Shahab Haghayegh.
Her research interests are rooted in translational science, with a particular focus on developing biomarkers and therapeutic strategies to improve health outcomes. Mili is especially drawn to biomarkers for their potential to serve as critical indicators of disease detection and progression. By enabling precise diagnoses and personalized treatments, biomarkers play a transformative role in advancing personalized medicine and supporting caregivers in making informed decisions about patient care.
