Dr. Peng Li is a biomedical engineer and computational physiologist with a cross-disciplinary background in biomedical signal processing, physiological measurement, sleep and circadian physiology, and neurophysiology research. He directs the Laboratory for Sleep and Digital Health (LSDH) and serves as the Research Director of the Medical Biodynamics Center (MBC).

While his primary focus is on research, Dr. Li is deeply passionate about teaching and mentoring, which he views as integral to professional and personal growth. The Department of Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital recognized this dedication with the 2022 Early Career Mentoring Award.

In addition to his research and mentorship roles, Dr. Li contributes to the academic community as a member of the Editorial Board for the journal SLEEP and as an Assistant Editor for the Journal of the American Heart Association.
